  Everyone has two choices.

  We’re either full of love…

  or full of fear.

  —Albert Einstein

  “MMM, BABY, YOU’RE AWAKE.”

Ryan looked down at the hot blonde who was now sucking on his cock and then over at the two who were still asleep in his bed. It was obvious that he must have been a very busy man last night, too bad he couldn’t remember and if he did, he wouldn’t care. All he could concentrate on was his newly found hatred for Faith.

“Hey, I want some of that.”

Ryan looked at the cute red head. “Why don’t you come over here and let me kiss that sweet pussy good morning.” Ryan winked.

“You really wore us out last night.”

“Oh yeah, well give me some time and I’ll wear you out again today.” Ryan buried his face in her pussy. Now if only he could enjoy himself and stop thinking about Faith and how she tore his heart out.

“There’s my beautiful bride to be.”

Alex smiled at Miguel. “I can’t wait to finally be your bride.”

  “Come back to bed.”

“I have to check on Faith. She was beside herself last night. She showed up crying and continued until she finally passed out. To be honest, I am not really sure what even happened but it had to do with my dear brother.”

  “About your brother…”

“What? Did he ruin your dinner party?”

“No, he texted me and said that he wasn’t feeling well. I texted him back to see if he needed anything. He said no, he’d be ok and that it was just some bad sushi.”

“Bad sushi named Faith, I bet.”

Miguel got up and walked over to where Alex was standing. “It will all work out.”

Alex hugged Miguel. “I hope so. I love them both so much.”

“I’m going to shower now since you turned me down.” Miguel pouted.

“Maybe I could squeeze in a quickie before I check on Faith.” Alex smiled.

Miguel picked her up and tossed her down onto the bed. “Oh, Baby!”

Faith rolled over and reached for her phone. She knew it was stupid but she had hoped that after Ryan calmed down that maybe he would text her and let her explain. No such luck as her only messages were from Zac.

Zac…what was she going to tell him? She’d never be in love with him or anyone else. Ryan stole her heart a long time ago. Faith mumbled aloud. “Forget about Ryan, he hates your guts. You’ve lost him for good now.” Faith shook her head, rolled over and burst into tears. Ryan loved her and she fucked it up. Now she would have to pay the consequences for the rest of her life.

  “Good morning.”

Dane pushed a cup of coffee across the table toward Miles. “Hey, thanks.”

“So, are you ready to discuss the security details for the wedding?”

Miles pulled a folder from his briefcase and handed it to Dane. “I laid the ground work but I am sure you will find ways to enhance it.”

Dane opened the folder and started to go over what Miles had put together. “I’m happy that Migs is getting married and all but this small wedding has turned into a three ring media circus.”

“Thankfully, Migs is only allowing two reporters to attend the reception and neither is allowed a camera crew.”

“I’m afraid the media may not be our only problem.”

  “You talking about Ryan?”

  “Yeah.”

“So what do you know that I don’t?”

“As you know Migs has had him under our watch since the beating and kidnapping incident. Well he was far from sick last night…”

  “Seriously?”

“He was at a bar for a while and then staggered out with three women, one of which was perched on his cock in the parking lot.”

“Sounds like he had more fun than we did.”

“Oh, I had plenty of my own fun after I left you and Migs.”

“I missed Eden and Cruz last night but damn did I sleep good all alone in that huge bed with not a peep in the house.”

Dane shook his head. “Back to Ryan. He needs to get his shit together or he’s going to ruin this wedding.”

“Maybe Eden can talk to him.”

“Somebody better make sure he stays in line or I will be kicking his ass out. Nobody is going to ruin this wedding on my watch.”

  “I’ll talk to her tonight.”

Alex knocked on Faith’s door twice but when Faith didn’t answer she opened the door and peeked in. Faith was sitting up in bed crying. Alex rushed over to the bed and climbed in next to Faith.

  “Oh Sweetie.”

“Ryan hates me.” Faith burst into hysterics again.

Alex cradled her best friend in her arms. “I still don’t know what happened but Faith, I don’t think that Ryan could ever hate you.”

Faith pulled back and wiped her eyes. “He told me that he loves me.”

Alex’s mouth dropped open. “My brother said the ‘L’ word?”

  “We were in bed and…

“Faith, all men say that in bed.”

“No, Alex, Ryan made love to me and then he said, ‘I love you’ and he meant it.”

  “Faith, are you sure?”

“He has never said anything that ever could have been misconstrued as I love you. Alex, he always fucks me hard…”

  “TMI!”

“He was gentle and he made me feel so cherished…oh God, I fucked everything up, Alex. I just want to die.” Faith grabbed Alex and burst back into tears.

“Ok, Faith, what am I missing? You love Ryan and now he loves you so what the hell happened?”

“Zac asked me to marry him and…”

“Oh my God, Faith! Why did I not know this?”

“It all happened so fast and I didn’t know what to say when he asked. Zac said he understood and he’d wait for my answer but he told me to keep the ring…”

  “And Ryan found it?”

Faith nodded. “Now he thinks that I am engaged and that he made a fool of himself.”

  “Poor Ryan.”

“He said that he’s never told anyone that he loved them and now he never will again. Alex, he told me that he hates me.”

“Faith, if he loves you enough to realize it then he’ll forgive you.”

  “What if he doesn’t?”

“Then he is a bigger fool than we both imagined.”

“What am I going to do?”

Alex handed Faith her phone. “Call him.”

“I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT in a few days I will be Mrs. Miguel Cruz.”

“I’m really happy for you, Alex.”

Alex reached for Dane’s hand. “Do you ever wonder…”

Dane shook his head. “It was obvious who you were in love with.”

“I know that one day you’ll…”

  “Die alone.”

  “Dane Carlton!”

“Some people are better off alone.”

“No, everyone is meant to be loved.”

“Alex, I live my life like each day is its last. How could I ever ask anyone to…”

“Miguel was no different from you when we started dating. In fact, he still isn’t. I know he’s still with the Agency, but Dane, he’s changed because he loves me.”

“If I couldn’t change for you then I don’t think it’s in the cards for me.”

“Oh, Dane.” Alex felt a pang of sadness. She really did like Dane and truth be told, if she wasn’t so in love with Miguel she would have made sure that she never let Dane get away.

  “Alex, I’m ok, really.”

“Excuse me, Alex. Is it alright if I come in and look for something on Miguel’s desk?”

Dane turned and smiled at Lacey. Alex took notice and went full speed into matchmaker mode. “Sure, Lacey, come in.”

“I’ll just be a minute. I’m sorry to interrupt.”

“Can I help you find whatever it is that you are looking for?”

Lacey looked over at Dane and blushed. “Umm…no, but thank you.”

  “I have this great idea…”

Dane looked at Alex and he knew exactly what she was about to do. “Alex, I have to go.”

“Before you do…Lacey, Dane, since you are both attending the wedding and don’t have dates, why don’t you come together? I bet you’d have a blast.”

Lacey dropped the folder she had in her hand. “Oh no, I’m sure Dane…”

Dane felt bad now that Lacey didn’t have a date because her husband was deployed, so he jumped in and followed Alex’s lead. At least she wouldn’t expect a commitment from him, seeing that she was married and all. “Dane would love to have you as his date.”

Lacey smiled. “Oh, are you sure?”

  Dane winked. “Very sure.”

“Ok, then it’s settled. I will see you two at the wedding.” Alex leaned up and kissed Dane on the cheek before running out the door.

Faith had called, texted and even stopped by Ryan’s house but he had managed to avoid her. She finally decided that she would wait in the parking lot and corner Ryan on his way into work. It helped knowing that Zac was still out of town so that she didn’t have to worry about seeing him.

Ryan’s car pulled into his space and before he could get his car door open, Faith jumped into the passenger side of the car. “Ryan, we need to talk.”

Ryan shut off the car and reached for the door handle. Faith grabbed his wrist. Ryan pulled away. “I have nothing to say to you, now get out of my car.”

  “Ryan, please.”

Ryan again, in a very monotone voice said, “I have nothing to say to you.”

“Ok, will you at least listen then?”

Ryan let go of the door handle. “You have one minute.”

  “I love YOU, not Zac.”

“Don’t fucking lie to me, Faith.”

“I’m not lying. I do love you.”

“Let me get this right, you love me but you’re marrying Zac?”

“Yes…I mean no. I haven’t said yes to Zac.”

  “But you’re going to?”

  “Ryan…”

“If you gave a rat’s ass about me you wouldn’t have accepted his ring…”

  “I didn’t know what to say…”

  “How about the truth, Faith?”

  “The truth?”

  “Yes.”

“The truth is that I’ve loved you for years. I came to you and I asked you, BEFORE I got serious with Zac, if you had feelings for me and YOU said NO.”

Ryan remembered that conversation. It was his fault that Faith was with Zac and now he was suffering the consequences. He opened the car door. “I guess I should have stuck with my first answer.”

“Ryan…” Faith watched as Ryan slammed the car door and walked toward the office building.

Ryan walked into his office, dropped his briefcase onto the floor and then poured himself a drink.

  “Rough night?”

Ryan looked up at Darla. “It’s five o’clock somewhere.” Then he poured himself another drink.

Darla walked over to Ryan and kissed him. Ryan pushed up her skirt and then lifted her up onto the conference table. He opened his pants, pulled out his cock and ripped off her panties before impaling her.

  “Ohhh Ryan, oh God!”

  “You cum, Baby?”

  “Twice.” Darla giggled.

Ryan started to really pound away and had just cum when his door flew open. “Ryan…Oh. My. God.”

Ryan pretended like Faith wasn’t even there. He pulled out so that Faith could see his cum covered cock and then he kissed Darla until he heard his door close.

Darla sat up and pulled down her skirt. “So was that for my benefit or hers?”

  “Yours of course.” Ryan smiled.

“Really? Seemed to me like you were trying to get her jealous.”

  “No. She’s with Zac.”

  “Ok, if you say so.”

“I say so.” Ryan kissed Darla.

Alex was about to step off the elevator when Faith came running in. Her heart broke when she saw her friend looking so devastated.

  “Oh, Faith.” Alex hugged Faith.

  “He hates me.”

  “Did he say that?”

“I tried to talk to him and explain but he wouldn’t listen. He thinks that I never cared about him.”

“Well I’m going to try to talk some sense into him.”

  “No. It’s too late.”

“Faith, if you love him then you can’t give up.”

“I didn’t want to but when I walked into his office just now, I found him fucking some woman on his conference table.”

“Ewww. Faith, you know Ryan is a slamhound. I’m sure it meant nothing as usual.”

“No, Alex, he saw me when I walked in. He wanted me to know that he meant what he said.”

“I still think that in time he will come around.”

“I don’t. I think it’s time for me to move on and forget him.”

“You know I will support you, whatev
er you decide. I just want it to be for the right reasons and not because you’re hurting now.”

“I guess I have some thinking to do.”

The elevator doors opened for the fifth time. “I guess I should go talk to my brother now.”

“I’ll see you at the bridal shop later.”

Alex knocked on Ryan’s door twice before he opened it. “Sis.”

Alex walked in and looked over at the conference table. Thoughts of her brother screwing some random woman on it made her want to vomit. “Hey.”

“Do you have a few minutes to talk?”

“It depends on whether or not you are here to plead Faith’s case?”

“It did cross my mind after I saw Faith in the elevator, but no, I’m here to make sure that you still plan to come to my wedding?”

“Of course I do. I’d never miss my sister’s wedding.”

  “You missed Miguel’s bachelor dinner.”

“You can blame that on your best friend.”

“Ry, Faith told me what happened and…”

“You mean she told you her side and made me look like the fucking idiot I am.”

“Ryan, you’re not an idiot, you’re in love.”

“Love? No, what I feel for Faith is hate.”

Alex walked over to Ryan and rubbed his back. “You can lie to yourself all you want but you’re in love with Faith whether you want to be or not.”

“It doesn’t matter now; she’s engaged to someone else.”

“Ryan, she loves you and has for a very long time. Can’t you just put your pride, hurt, jealousy or whatever the hell it is aside and at least talk to her?”

Ryan sat down and Alex plopped down next to him. Ryan exhaled and ran his hands through his hair. “I made love to her, not fucked her like some piece of ass and then…” Ryan got up and started to pace. “I told her that I loved her…HER! I’ve never said that to a woman before…EVER.” Ryan poured himself a drink and chugged it down. “She didn’t even have the guts to tell me about Zac. I found the ring when I was in the bathroom washing my hands.”
